Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner Paris Partner Kathie Claret and Associate Emmanuelle Mercier co-authored an article published June 12 by LSA regarding the repeal of the social dialogue body in franchise networks last April. They underline the criticisms that led to the repeal of this body, in particular as regards the principle of independence between the franchisor and the franchisee’s employees. Both consider that a future social dialogue mechanism in the franchise sector is not impossible however, as some think it is necessary to legislate on the specifics of employment in this field.
