Kansas City Partner Perry Brandt was selected for the Dean of the Trial Bar Award by the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. The award will be presented at KCMBA's 48th Annual Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference, scheduled remotely this year on May 13. The Dean of the Trial Bar Award is presented annually at the conference to one or more attorneys who have a substantial and distinguished trial career. The award acknowledges service of current KCMBA members whose litigation skill and professional demeanor have resulted in consistent recognition by their peers as exemplary.

At BCLP, Brandt has acted as lead trial counsel in all types of complex business and commercial litigation in state and federal courts across the nation, as well as before various governmental agencies and arbitration panels. He has handled dozens of trials during that time. Brandt's experience spans a number of industries and types of proceedings, and he has achieved many summary judgments and other favorable resolutions prior to trial. During his career Brandt has counseled boards of directors, management teams and legal departments regarding litigation, business and regulatory matters, and risk avoidance.
