Paris Counsel François Alambret and Cécile Terret were quoted April 29 in Le Monde du Droit following a recent conference organized by BCLP Paris on managing whistleblowing issues. Alambret outlined the definition of a whistleblower and noted that companies must remember that documents collected or created during an internal investigation can be seized in the event of legal proceedings. "You have to be very careful in the event of a criminal trial,” Terret added. “The situation then becomes very different –  the company is no longer the victim.”
