BCLP has appointed Partner Martin Wilmsen to strengthen its multidisciplinary Real Estate Practice in Frankfurt.

Martin, who holds a law degree as well as an MBA from the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) at the University of Regensburg, previously worked as counsel for DLA Piper. He brings a wealth of experience in providing legal advice on commercial real estate financings. Moreover, as founder of the German ESG Forum, he is well-versed in green and ESG-compliant financing.

"Only two months after welcoming four highly reputed new partners to our German Real Estate Team, we have been able to attract Martin Wilmsen, another distinguished lawyer, to BCLP,” said Tina Siebenhaar, Head of Real Estate at BCLP Germany.

“This marks another step in the firm’s growth plans in Germany and Europe. With his international experience and know-how in ESG-compliant financing, he will be a real asset for our advisory services in this important future market."

With this new addition, BCLP Germany now has a team of more than 60 lawyers at its offices in Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg.
