BCLP lawyers author article in ‘Expert Witness Journal’ on uncontroverted expert evidence
Associate Director Sarah Breckenridge and Associate Alec Brown authored an article in the December 2021 edition of the Expert Witness Journal concerning “uncontroverted” expert evidence that appears not to prove the claimant’s case to the requisite standard, and the court’s role. Their article reviews the recent Court of Appeal case in Griffiths v Tui, where the judgment shows how finely balanced the law is on this point and the wider questions it raises for litigation practitioners.
