Paris Partner Rémy Blain and Counsel Sarah Delon-Bouquet will co-host a training session on Nov. 29, together with Audrey Morin, group compliance director at Schneider Electric, concerning how to review delegations of authority while complying with Sapin II. This training is organized by the AFJE, the French Association of Corporate Lawyers, on the occasion of the ninth annual AFJE Campus, an event that brings together nearly 450 corporate lawyers each year for a full day of training.

Managing partner of BCLP’s Paris office, Blain advises clients in the areas of acquisitions and sales of companies/assets, and private equity projects for equity funds and management teams. He also advises clients on a wide range of trade matters, including distribution and franchising, joint ventures, technology transactions, bidding, teaming and supply agreements.

Delon-Bouquet has significant experience in advising and representing international clients having business activities in Europe and in particular in France with day-to-day issues related to labor law, whether contentious or not. This involves all aspects of labor and employment law from drafting employment agreements to advising on issues related to working time, employee benefits, organizing personnel representative elections and consulting with the works council to negotiating termination agreements. She also advises clients on the employment aspects of cross-border corporate transactions. Furthermore, she advises clients on EU and French data protection and privacy law compliance, as well as issues related to cross-border data flows, transfer of data outside the European Union and implementation of protective measures.
