BCLP Partner appointed as United States Bankruptcy Judge
BCLP Partner Brian Walsh has been appointed as a United States Bankruptcy Judge. The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit announced the appointment on December 22nd.
Brian’s 14-year term will begin in mid-January 2023. He will preside over business and consumer bankruptcy cases in the Eastern District of Missouri, which includes 49 counties and has courthouses in St. Louis, Cape Girardeau, and Hannibal.
He joined BCLP’s St. Louis office as a partner in 2006 and has been a member of the firm’s restructuring, commercial litigation, and appellate practices. Brian led the global Restructuring & Insolvency practice group from 2017 to 2021.
