BCLP Partners Present on Crypto Regulatory Matters
BCLP Partners Ashley Ebersole, Dan Csefalvay and Eric Martin will host a roundtable discussion on cryptocurrency regulatory matters on April 29. Recent announcements by the UK and US governments move the pledge to regulate crypto a step closer to reality. This panel presentation will analyze and unpack the potential crypto regulatory matters to come, as well as their impact on the digital assets industry.
Ashley is a former U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission attorney whose diverse practice spans from counseling fintech startups and financial sponsors on topics including regulatory questions, corporate finance and fund formation, to representing clients in regulatory and enforcement matters with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, U.S. Department of Justice and state agencies.
Dan advises a broad range of financial services institutions including investment banks, broker dealers, market infrastructure providers and investment managers (such as hedge fund managers and private equity houses) and commodities trading houses on financial regulation, covering both domestic and cross-border aspects.
Eric is the global practice co-leader of BCLP’s Financial Services Disputes & Investigations Practice. He is a financial services trial attorney with extensive experience at both the trial and appellate court level. His practice is centered on representing national banks, mortgage servicers and broker-dealers in a wide variety of high-exposure and complex claims.
