Bryan Cave and the Association of Corporate Counsel-Southern California (ACC SoCal) will partner with Do Good Bus on a service project for the Downtown Women’s Center on Sept. 16.

The Downtown Women’s Center is exclusively dedicated to addressing the needs of women overcoming poverty and homelessness in the Skid Row neighborhood near downtown Los Angeles. Through Do Good Bus, which organizes mystery community service projects and transports volunteers on a refurbished school bus, the Bryan Cave and ACC SoCal volunteers will visit the Downtown Women’s Center and pack donated hygiene kits for at-risk women.

"Lack of hygiene products and services leads to public health crises," said ACC SoCal Pro Bono Committee Chair Adriana Dulic. “Less than one-third of restrooms in Skid Row are deemed to be in service, clean and stocked with supplies. With this project, we hope to do our part to combat that statistic and prevent public health crises.”

“Bryan Cave is proud to partner with ACC SoCal on such a meaningful program,” said Doug Thompson, managing partner of Bryan Cave’s Los Angeles office. “We are privileged to make a difference in our community by giving back to those who need it most and to bring hope for a brighter future.”

This event marks the third joint community service project between Bryan Cave and ACC SoCal. For further information on the Downtown Women’s Center, click here and for further information on Do Good Bus, click here.
