Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) announced today that its data privacy and cyber security team launched CCPA-Info.com – a comprehensive, no-nonsense resource to help businesses and legal teams interpret, navigate and comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which takes effect Jan. 1, 2020.
The CCPA purports to enhance privacy rights for residents of California, but imposes significant compliance burdens, steep penalties and litigation risks on companies that do business in California.
