Denver Partner Heather Boelens participated as a speaker at IMN’s 20th Annual U.S. Real Estate Opportunity & Private Fund Investing Forum, held recently in Newport, R.I. Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner also sponsored the forum.
The IMN Conference annually brings together the largest real estate private equity funds, LPs and their service providers to address the challenges and opportunities facing the commercial real estate (CRE) market, with panels on fund structuring, macro-economic drivers, disposition trends, regulatory and tax considerations, and technology updates.
Boelens joined CRE leaders as session chair of the Women’s Breakfast Roundtable on June 21. The panel addressed a number of topics and questions, including how to advance women in this very competitive and male-dominated industry.
Boelens is a partner with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner’s Real Estate Private Equity and REITs Team. She focuses on representing opportunity funds, major developers, property owners and investors in structuring, negotiating and closing varied and complex commercial real estate transactions throughout the United States covering nearly every asset class.
New York Partners Will Brodsky and Matt Cudrin and Irvine Partner Vanessa Sunshine also attended the forum.
