Schmidt also won a National Award of Merit from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for his work in this area.

Schmidt is a litigator whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation and class action defense. He handles cases on behalf of medium and large institutional firm clients, including responsibility for an extensive and complex case load and supervision of other attorneys and paralegals in all facets of client counseling and litigation.
