St. Louis Partner Brandon Neuschafer was recently appointed to serve on the Board of Representatives for the Center for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST).

CAST is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization organized for the purpose of assembling, interpreting and communicating credible, balanced, science-based information to policymakers, the media, the private sector and the public. CAST’s Board of Representatives, which helps create the content published by CAST, is composed of experts from scientific societies, educational institutions, commercial companies, and nonprofit or trade organizations.

At Bryan Cave, Neuschafer practices primarily in the fields of environmental, food and agriculture law, including regulatory compliance, transactional counseling and litigation. He has done significant work relating to agriculture, food and biotechnology issues, and is a founding member and co-chair of Bryan Cave’s Food & Beverage Team. Neuschafer advises clients at all levels of food production and manufacturing, from agricultural operations to restaurants, and has experience working with regulatory agencies such as FDA and USDA. His work includes counseling clients on issues impacting ingredients, packaging, storage, facility registration, labeling, advertising, adulteration and recall. He also has assisted companies with respect to facility registrations and preparing for and responding to government inquiries and inspections.
