BCLP Partner Andrey Spektor was quoted Jan. 3 by The Wall Street Journal concerning the jurors’ note that they were deadlocked on 3 of 11 counts in the criminal fraud trial of Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos. The piece concluded with Andrey’s observation that by a certain point—which may have already come—the jurors “have reviewed and discussed all the evidence, and it becomes a matter of convincing holdouts to come over to the majority’s side.”
