DC Partner and Co-Chair Emeritus Therese Pritchard is featured in the summer edition of BC Law, the Boston College Law School magazine, for her remarkable five-decade career. Prior to entering private practice, Pritchard was with the Division of Enforcement of the Securities and Exchange Commission from 1982 to 1991. She served as an assistant director beginning in 1986 and handled many of its most notable Wall Street cases. After joining BCLP, Pritchard later served as chair of the firm from 2014 until its combination with Berwin Leighton Paisner in 2018, and then as co-chair of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner until the end of 2019. “When I talk to first-year associates at their new associate training gathering, I talk about taking the opportunity that lands in front of you,” she told the publication. “I think our younger generation likes to plan much more than my generation planned, or certainly, I planned. Some of my career was really about grasping what fell into my lap and running with it, and really getting great reward from that.” The article also quoted Pritchard’s longtime friend and DC Partner LaDawn Naegle.
