Firm Co-Chair Terry Pritchard was interviewed Nov. 8 on Law.com’s “Legal Speak” podcast in an episode exploring what comes next for law firm leaders at the end of their tenure. Pritchard, whose term as firm chair ends in January, said her immediate plan is to return to her securities, litigation and enforcement practice. “My practice was fascinating before,” she said. “I actually think that having now run an almost billion-dollar business, now I am really in a position to have a better perspective on the impact that legal advice has on clients and the need for practical guidance on the implementation of the advice we give.” When asked for advice for other firm heads going through this transition, Pritchard answered, “I would say, there are lots of interesting options. All change involves anxiety and I think taking one’s time, and thinking about what one really wants to do with the experience you’ve had, is important.”
