PropTech Conversations: WiredScore: The Future is Smart
BCLP is delighted to announce that our next PropTech Conversation, taking place on Thursday 24 June at 4.30pm GMT, will feature a discussion with William Newton, President and MD of WiredScore.
WiredScore is the enterprise behind WiredScore and SmartScore certifications, the internationally recognised digital connectivity and smart building rating systems for real estate, which help developers and landlords design and promote buildings that meet the expectations of today’s tenants and the user needs of tomorrow.
William began his career at McKinsey & Co, before moving to work as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Cabinet Office and then in the Policy Unit in 10 Downing Street. William joined WiredScore ahead of the company’s London launch as the capital’s official digital connectivity rating scheme in October 2015 in partnership with the Mayor of London. In 2017, William led WiredScore’s European expansion with launches in France, Ireland and Germany. Having successfully repositioned the wider debate around connectivity in commercial real estate, William won both the Estates Gazette’s Rising Stars award 2016 and the Property Week’s Young Property Personality of the Year 2017.
William will be in conversation with John Bennett who has over 35 years' experience of Corporate Real Estate transactional work, whose clients also include PropTech companies and investors.
