On the afternoon of 7 May 2019 Mathew Rea spoke at an event titled “The Changing Landscape of Commodities Disputes”. The event was part of the inaugural London International Disputes week which celebrate the heritage of London as a leading centre for handling international disputes, and explored the future of international dispute resolution through a programme of interactive sessions and networking events. The title of Mathew’s talk was “Agency Issues in Commodities Arbitration”. The well attended event was hosted by Clyde & Co and, in addition to Mathew, also featured speakers from the London Metal Exchange, Louis Dreyfus, GAFTA, HFW and Quadrant Chambers.
