St. Louis Associate Elizabeth Schlesinger was featured March 7 in the St. Louis Jewish Light as part of the publication’s “36 and Under” series. Schlesinger was highlighted for her work fighting discrimination against LGBTQ people at the state and national level. “The political climate in Missouri is a real challenge for LGBT folks, and I knew if I was going to live and work here, I wanted to be part of making it a little better for me and other members of the community,” said Schlesinger, who is co-chair of the National Board of Governors for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), which advocates for LGBTQ protections nationwide.
