St. Louis Associate Elizabeth Schlesinger was interviewed April 30 on Fox 2 News in St. Louis in connection with a public reading of the book I Am Jazz, sponsored by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC). The book is the story of a transgender child based on the real-life experience of Jazz Jennings. “We just hope to bring more awareness to the community,” said Schlesinger, who serves on the HRC National Board of Governors and is co-chair of the St. Louis Steering Committee. “We’ve been working with TransParent this year, a great local organization getting ready to launch national chapters. So we want to let people know about TransParent and the important work they do.” Click here to see the Fox 2 News coverage.
