Los Angeles Managing Partner Douglas Thompson has been named to Los Angeles Business Journal’s LA500 list of the most influential people in Los Angeles. The LA500 recognizes local business and civic leaders, “focusing on the people, companies and transactions that have an outsized impact on the business community.” The Legal chapter comprises less than 10% of the entire LA 500 List.  The Journal notes that in addition to his role as Managing Partner in Los Angeles, Thompson has helped design and co-sponsor BCLP’s Global Connections Mentoring program, which matches diverse partners and associates across the firm’s global platform, and continues his active practice defending companies facing class action litigation and regulatory risk. Thompson is engaged in the community, as a member of the executive committee of the board for the Constitutional Rights Foundation and co-chair of the United Way of Greater Los Angeles Tocqueville Society Cabinet.
