Kansas City Partners Perry Brandt and Kent Wittrock and Atlanta Partner Jonathan Hightower have been recognized as 2017 Client Choice Award winners by Lexology. Established in 2005, Client Choice recognizes law firms and partners around the world for excellent client care and quality of service. Winners can only be nominated by corporate counsel.

This year’s winners were chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments. Clients were asked to rate individual lawyers and law firms on the following service criteria: quality of legal advice, commercial awareness, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, value for money, responsiveness, effective communication, clarity of documentation, sharing of expertise, appropriate staffing, project management, use of technology, loyalty and ethics.

Brandt is managing partner of Bryan Cave’s Kansas City office. An active member of the firm’s litigation practice, he has been lead trial counsel in all types of complex business and commercial litigation in state and federal courts across the nation, as well as before various governmental agencies and arbitration panels. Brandt has particular experience in class, shareholder derivative and multiplaintiff litigation.

Wittrock concentrates his practice in the areas of business and transactional counseling. He has significant experience in structuring and negotiating merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions for financial and strategic buyers and sellers. He also has experience advising clients in connection with joint venture and other strategic transactions, contractual and general business matters as well as corporate formation and governance issues.

Hightower focuses his practice in financial institutions law, including corporate, regulatory and securities work. He regularly advises banks and their boards of directors on their strategic plans, including organic and acquisition growth plans, sale transactions, strategic mergers and capital raises, as well as on complex regulatory issues. His active transactional practice significantly contributes to Bryan Cave's consistent rankings among the leaders in the SNL league tables for financial institutions M&A.
