Summary

Three BCLP partners will speak at the inaugural London International Disputes Week (LIDW), which will explore the future of international dispute resolution and celebrate the heritage of London as a leading centre for handling international disputes, through a programme of interactive sessions and networking events.

Caroline Pope will be chairing a panel on International construction disputes, which will address the following theme: solving the problem of balancing fairness without starving the industry of its lifeblood; is the UK template a model that could be followed in other international construction markets?

Andrew Hockley will take part in the panel discussion on Competition disputes, reflecting on the heritage of London as a leading centre for competition disputes and analysing the potential impact of Brexit, while Mathew Rea will be exploring the changing landscape of commodities disputes.
