Biography

Adam is a trial lawyer for high-stakes business disputes. His practice focuses on M&A, trade secrets, class action, securities, and antitrust cases. Adam’s clients span a wide range of industries, from technology and oil and gas to private equity and financial services. Adam has a track record of helping clients successfully navigate their most difficult problems both inside and outside the courtroom. Prior to joining BCLP in 2017, Adam worked at the law firm Kirkland & Ellis in New York City.

  • Representing information services company in trade secret and non-compete lawsuit resulting from the acquisition of a trade data company. Obtained summary judgment on liability, which led to favorable settlement.
  • Representing manager of real estate company against claims of mismanagement and misuse of corporate assets. Obtained complete defense verdict at trial.
  • Representing health care company in class action challenging billing practices for uninsured patients. Defeated class certification, which led to voluntary dismissal.
  • Representing private equity company in antitrust lawsuit alleging bid rigging of oil and gas leases. Obtained complete dismissal of all claims.
  • Representing oil and gas company in arbitration over the purchase price for $1B sale of foreign oil and gas assets.
  • Representing oil equipment company in bet-the-company lawsuit against competitor, involving claims for trade secret misappropriation and non-compete violations.
  • Representing food processing company in antitrust class action alleging national wage fixing conspiracy.
  • Representing private equity company in arbitration over earnout for its sale of a construction business.  Obtained favorable arbitration award.
  • Representing social media company and its officers and directors in securities class actions and shareholder derivative lawsuits relating to one of the largest initial public offerings in history.
  • Representing pharmaceutical company in antitrust class action relating to allegedly fraudulent generic drug applications submitted to the FDA.
  • Representing financial services company in a partnership dispute over underwriting fees for commercial mortgage backed securitizations.
  • Representing health care provider in arbitration relating to competition over the sale of specialty pharmaceutical products.
