Aisha's practice focuses on deescalating matters before federal and state administrative agencies and congressional bodies. She provides practical regulatory and transactional advice to a broad spectrum of clients including banks, non-bank lenders, loan servicers, payment processors and fintech companies. She also crafts advocacy plans and communications for clients regarding state and federal legislation impacting their operations.

Aisha’s subject matter expertise includes federal and state laws governing lending, privacy, and unfair, deceptive, and abusive acts and practices, Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) (along with its implementing regulations and Metro 2 Guidelines), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Servicemember Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Military Lending Act (MLA), Higher Education Act (HEA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and National Automated Clearing House Association Operating Rules and Guidelines (NACHA).

Prior to joining the firm, Aisha advised clients on regulatory and compliance matters, including risks related to operational practices, product development, consumer communication, and development of compliance management systems.

Aisha is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D.) and Northwestern University (B.S.).
