Biography

Christian’s practice focuses on advising French and international clients on M&A and Private Equity deals. He has extensive experience in structuring and co-ordinating complex and/or cross-border transactions.

He is recognized for his experience in corporate and commercial law and also regularly advises on strategic alliances, joint-ventures and partnerships.

He assists clients in particular from the telecoms, media, technology, energy and biotech sectors.

Experience

  • SFR on the acquisition of stakes from Caisse des Dépots et Consignations in six local project companies in charge of the deployment and operation of high speed telecom networks under public service delegation agreements;
  • OrbiMed Advisors and Deerfield Management Company on an $85 million financing agreement with the Valneva SE group, a specialist in infectious diseases, including a $60 million fixed-rate loan (at a rate in the high single digits) and an additional $25 million facility;
  • Altice in selling stakes in its Telecom Tower business in France and in the Dominican Republic;
  • The French managers of an international consulting firm in the set-up of their firm-wide management package;
  • An Austrian-based investment firm on the French aspects in relation to an investment in a cutting-edge technology company developing AI algorithms and deep learning for autonomous navigation systems;
  • Advised AENS (media sector) on an important cross-border restructuring, including the sale of a number of television channels as going concerns and a cross-border merger.
