Michael Schwartz focuses his practice in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and commercial transactions. He assists a range of clients including major corporations, privately held companies and start-up enterprises  in industries that include manufacturing, financial services, retail, health care and biotechnology. He has experience drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements including stock and asset purchase agreements; corporate formation and organizational documents; securities offering documents including private placement memoranda and prospectuses; and commercial agreements. While in law school, Mr. Schwartz interned for the Hon. Richard W. Roberts of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Schwartz served as a finance director and fundraiser for a number of political campaigns, including the 2004 Presidential campaign.
