Ruben is a German qualified lawyer in the Real Estate team. His practice focuses on advising national and international clients on all real property related aspects of law, including but not limited to the acquisition and disposal of single assets and real estate portfolios (both by way of asset and share deal) acquisition financing, negotiating lease agreements both for landlords and tenants, in rem real property related rights, and litigating disputes connected with real estate matters. In addition, Ruben also focuses on the public law aspects of real estate, including the representation of clients in administrative matters vis-à-vis public authorities and in court.

Ruben also advises in competition law with a particular focus on the energy industry, especially with regard to unbundling requirements, the promotion of renewables, network interconnection and access, capacity allocation and congestion management procedures, network-tariff regulation and licensing agreements.

Ruben graduated from the University of Regensburg in 2008 and is fluent in German and English.
