Biography
Sara O’Keefe represents employers in all aspects of employment and labor advice and counseling. Ms. O’Keefe advises many healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and service-oriented clients on a wide variety of issues, including hiring, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, disability discrimination, wage and hour laws and employee leave rights. She regularly provides advice and counseling with respect to employment-related issues in transactional matters, including separation agreements, employment contracts and restrictive covenants.
Ms. O’Keefe’s employment litigation experience includes representation of employers in defense of claims of race, age, religion, disability and sex discrimination, sexual harassment and retaliation in federal court, state court and administrative agencies.
During law school Ms. O’Keefe served as a student intern to the Hon. Theodore McMillian of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
