BCLP Construction Disputes partner, Shy Jackson, will be a featured panellist at this year's edition of the Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) International Conference. The event will be held on 19 April 2024 at the Grand Ballroom of the JW Marriott in Hong Kong SAR.

The panel will be discussing “The Power of Industry-wide Collaboration for NEC” and in particular, how to maximise the benefits of the NEC Contract. Shy, along with the other panellists, will delve into the transformative potential of this contractual approach and its ability to foster trust and innovation within the construction industry.

A frequent speaker and author on NEC contracts, Shy is widely regarded as a leading specialist in the field and is highlighted in Chambers & Partners for “know[ing] NEC contracts back to front." In 2019, Shy was appointed as a member of the NEC Board in recognition of his experience in advising on the NEC contract and his involvement in projects using NEC.
