BCLP Partner Shy Jackson presented at the NEC Annual Conference 2023, hosted in London. Shy’s session covered the updated Construction Playbook, which sets out the UK government’s plans for improving procurement and delivery of infrastructure projects, and how the NEC form of contract can be used to achieve the same aims. Shy will be joined by Hadleigh Standen, Deputy Director, Strategic Partnering Program, Cabinet Office.  

Shy’s practice at BCLP covers construction and engineering project advice and disputes. He is a member of the NEC Contract Board, a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Arbitration, a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and a Visiting Fellow (Construction Law) at King’s College London.
