Partner to present on art and AI at APEC 2023
Nov 10, 2023BCLP Partner and Co-Global Technology and IP Disputes Practice Group Leader Rachel Matteo-Boehm is set to present at a pre-APEC 2023 event titled “The Future Starts in California” in San Francisco, Calif., on Tuesday, November 14. Rachel will discuss legal issues related to art and AI, including various infringement, licensing and ownership issues as they pertain to emerging media and first amendment rights. She will be joined by Dr. Pinar Yoldas (infra-disciplinary architect and associate professor, UC San Diego), Peter Hirschberg (CEO, Lighthouse.one), Alexander Reben (resident artist, OpenAI) and John Boas (tech and retail executive investor and advisor).
