Partner quoted in ‘Hospitality Investor’ on lenders in hospitality industry

BCLP Partner Laura Wild was quoted June 5 in Hospitality Investor on waning patience from lenders in the hotel industry, as discussed in her panel on hotel distress at the 2023 International Hospitality Investment Forum in Berlin. “A lot of the lenders really are getting a little fed up now. So in terms of covenant breaches, they will certainly be reserving their rights in that respect,” she said. “They'll be asking for more equity to be put in. And at the end of the term, it's either put the equity in or refinance somewhere else.”
