Biography
Maggie is an associate in the firm’s Business and Commercial Disputes practice group, where she assists on a wide variety of general litigation matters.
During law school, Maggie worked in the Loyola University Community Law Clinic and acted as the Guardian ad litem in several guardianship cases. Her role involved investigating the facts of each case, interviewing the parties, and writing and presenting a report to the judge with a recommendation in accordance with the best interests of the child. Maggie also served as an extern to the Honorable Thomas J. Durkin of the Northern District of Illinois, where she conducted legal research and analysis on various substantive and procedural litigation issues. Additionally, Maggie held several academic roles at Loyola, including Student Articles Editor of the Law Journal, teaching assistant for a first-year Property course, and a research assistant for professors in both environmental and intellectual property law.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, Maggie was a summer associate in both 2020 and 2021. Before law school, Maggie spent seven years as an elementary and middle school teacher in New Orleans and Chicago.
