George is an international arbitration specialist, with 20 years’ experience in representing and advising clients of all types in a wide range of arbitral proceedings and across a range of sectors.  Those arbitrations have been seated in cities around the world and have been governed by well-known rules of arbitration (ICC, LCIA, ICSID, UNCITRAL, SIAC, Stockholm Chamber, Permanent Court of Arbitration etc), as well as less well-known rules.

George has a long track-record in investor-state arbitration, usually appearing for investors bringing claims under a variety of bilateral and multilateral investment treaties.  In those cases, he has led teams that have broken new ground on important jurisdictional issues and other questions of public international law, including addressing international criminal law issues and issues relating to INTERPOL Red Notices.
