BCLP advised Sienna IM on a €40 million bond financing for Keon, France's largest independent biomethane producer.

Founded 20 years ago, Keon is a pioneering ETI in methanization, covering the entire value chain and boasting a vast portfolio of eleven operational biomethane units, four under construction and at least eighteen under development.

This financing will be carried out via three complementary private debt strategies: the Sienna Sustainable Infrastructure Debt III (SID3) fund, the Sienna Biodiversity Private Credit fund and F2E.

This strategic line of credit is designed to accelerate Keon's ambitions in terms of green gas development, and to extend its model of virtuous methanization at the service of local communities.

It also underlines Sienna IM Group's commitment to promoting decarbonization efforts in Europe and the growing importance of diversified renewable energy sources in the transition to a low-carbon economy.

The BCLP team that advised Sienna IM included Partner David Blondel, Counsel Paul Ast, and Associate Fabien Lambert, on French legal aspects, and Partner Ambroise Foerster, and Senior Associate Jordan Reinert, on Luxembourg legal aspects.
