BCLP advises Sixth Street’s logistics joint venture with Copley Point Capital on five logistics property acquisition from Barings

International law firm BCLP advised Sixth Street’s’ logistics joint venture platform with Copley Point Capital on its acquisition of five logistics assets from Barings and associated financing. The five sites are located in Daventry, Nottingham, Warrington and Avonmouth with Great Bear Distribution, Rolls Royce, GKN Aerospace, and Countryside Properties as tenants for the respective single-let units.

BCLP also advised the joint venture platform on a previous asset acquisition bought from NFU Mutual.

The firm has now assisted Sixth Street and Copley Point Capital on the direct and indirect acquisitions and associated financing of 11 properties for the JV in the past 5 months. Sixth Street is one of the largest private capital investment platforms in the world, currently with over $100bn in assets under management across a diverse range of sectors that overlap with many of BCLP's core strengths.
