Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has been named Real Estate Law Firm of the Year at Asian Legal Business’ 19th Annual ALB Hong Kong Law Awards. The Nov. 27 event, held virtually this year, honored the outstanding performance of private practitioners and in-house teams across the region active in all facets of the real estate market.

This is the second time in the last three years that BCLP has been named Real Estate Law Firm of the Year. The firm’s Real Estate Practice includes a global team of nearly 700 real estate sector lawyers. Much of the complex work the firm carries out requires a multidisciplinary approach with advisers on corporate, finance, tax and risk management issues as well as real estate lawyers.

Partner Andrew MacGeoch, head of Asia Real Estate and Infrastructure and global co-head of the Hospitality & Leisure Group, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.

“Many congrats to all who have supported us to make this happen,” MacGeoch said. “In true sector style, the full team deserving the credit includes members from our Real Estate, Disputes, Corporate & Finance Groups. This win is super encouraging as the toughest year draws to a close.”

In addition to the Real Estate Law Firm of the Year win, BCLP was nominated as a finalist in the following categories: Construction Law Firm of the Year; Energy & Resources Law Firm of the Year; Matrimonial & Family Law Firm of the Year; Aviation Law Firm of the Year; and HKGALA Award Corporate Citizenship Law Firm of the Year.
