Lawyers in the i (paper) on employers’ response to changing COVID rules

A blog post by members of BCLP’s Employment & Labor Team was quoted in the i (paper) regarding the impact of changes to the UK’s COVID-19 rules. This follows the government’s confirmation of the scrapping of many legal restrictions around COVID this week and its presentation of the “Living with COVID-19” strategy. The blog post looks at how employers should respond to the changing self-isolation rules upon a positive test, and considers the possibility of individuals attending the workplace while either positive for COVID or showing symptoms. “Employers need to strike a balance between living with Covid-19 while at the same time ensuring the safety of staff,” the blog noted.
