Schmidt in Multiple Sources on Tuition Refund Suits

St. Louis Partner Christopher Schmidt was quoted Oct. 22 by Scripps Media concerning the growing list of class action lawsuits across America as college students seek tuition refunds for classes forced to move online. The California State University (CSU) system is the latest to announce that most classes across its 23 campuses will remain virtual through the spring term. BCLP’s Higher Education Refund Class Action Team reports that over 250 refund-related lawsuits are pending by students across the country. Schmidt, co-leader of the Higher Education Team, said it will be difficult for students to win these legal battles, as most signed financial contracts that likely did not promise in-person instruction. Click here to read the article on the website of FOX-4 in Florida.
