Boulder Associate Spencer Rubin has been appointed as chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s (CBA) Young Lawyers’ Division (YLD). This is the first appointment of a Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner associate to chair the CBA’s YLD, and is a unique recognition with regard to national/international firm attorneys being positioned on any executive committee of the Colorado Bar Association.

Rubin also serves on the Colorado Bar Association’s Executive Committee, Young Lawyer Strategic Task Force, Presidents’ Diversity Council and the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates as the Colorado young lawyer representative.

At BCLP, Rubin represents emerging and established companies in technology and intellectual property transactions, including the licensing of proprietary software and cloud platforms, the commercialization of data products, the monetization of brands through marketing and advertising agency transactions, and the protection of personal information through the application of the privacy and security standards that today’s global markets demand.

The Colorado Bar Association Young Lawyers Division serves young lawyers and law students of Colorado; promotes professional values and involvement in the CBA; and provides opportunities for its members to form connections with fellow attorneys, to engage in professional development, and to serve the legal community and the community at large
