BCLP Partner Sarah Hartley authored an article published June 6 by LawInSport addressing “How the US Women’s National Soccer Team’s New Equal Pay Agreement Works.” This article is a follow-up to Sarah’s previously published work on the US Soccer Federations (USSF) settlement of the equal pay dispute with the US Women’s National Team (the USWNT). In her writing, she delves into the terms of the new collective bargaining agreements, how the terms reflect equal pay, and what this equal pay fight might mean for other women’s sports. Sarah is a member of BCLP’s Sports & Entertainment Group and regularly handles sports compliance and governance issues, as well as consulting on and handling contentious disputes regarding allegations of sexual misconduct by coaches, athletic personnel and others.
