Abdulla is an associate in the Transport and Asset Finance team with experience of rail, aviation and maritime. He has experience of advising clients on operating and finance leases, sale and leaseback transactions, JOLCOs, sale-and-purchase of vessels, Islamic finance, leverage finance, corporate jet financing, specialist due-diligence on a portfolio of maritime loans, as well as individual and portfolio aircraft sales and novation.  His clients include financial institutions and banks, lessors and owners.

Prior to joining BCLP, Abdulla trained at a US law firm and was a lawyer in an Asset Finance team of an international law firm where he also completed a secondment at the London office of a Swiss bank.

Abdulla read History at King’s College, Cambridge and subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course.
