Biography

Trevor Jenkins’ practice focuses primarily in the banking and real estate areas with an emphasis in commercial lending, commercial and multi-family real estate development, asset-based lending and commercial leasing.

His experience includes the structuring, negotiation, documentation, workout and enforcement of a broad spectrum of syndicated and non-syndicated credit transactions involving both domestic and foreign companies in a wide variety of industries. These transactions include secured and unsecured loan facilities, asset based loan facilities, construction loan financing, bond financings, debt restructurings and letter of credit facilities. Mr. Jenkins also represents real estate developers in negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements and negotiating loan documentation. Recently, he has been heavily involved in negotiating and documenting a wide variety of real estate and business loan workout transactions, including foreclosure, UCC collateral enforcement, receivership and loan/guaranty enforcement.

  • Represented Administrative Agent in connection with $250,000,000 secured, syndicated credit facility.
  • Represented regional lender in connection with the simultaneous workout and enforcement of a $1 billion dollar loan portfolio secured by properties located in MO, KS, AR, OK, IA, CO, IL, FL, AZ, TX and IL.
  • Represented national distressed debt fund in the workout and enforcement of a newly acquired $350,000,000 distressed debt portfolio which was secured by properties located in MO, KS, TX, CO, IL and AZ.
  • Represented Power Plant Owner in connection with a $72,000,000 construction loan for a 120 megawatt power plant.
  • Has represented lenders in the structuring, negotiation and documentation of more than $500,000,000 of commercial real estate financing and more than $800,000,000 of secured and unsecured business credit financing.
  • Member of team representing publicly traded investment fund in the acquisition of a $360,000,000 commercial real estate portfolio.
  • Represented developer in the site acquisition, financing and development of a $28,000,000 multi-phase resort condo project.
