Biography

Jed White is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He is a litigator practicing in all aspects of commercial litigation including contract disputes, real estate and consumer class action litigation. Jed is a member of BCLP’s CCPA Litigation Team, a dedicated group of lawyers focusing specifically on litigation involving the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). He has significant experience enforcing arbitral rights and awards and routinely consults with clients and transactional counsel to provide advice respecting the drafting and enforcement of alternative dispute provisions. As part of his counseling practice Jed advises clients on creating enforceable e-commerce agreements, including the drafting and implementation of effective terms and conditions. Jed has represented individual and business clients in federal and state courts, as well as complex international arbitrations.

Jed also represents purchasers, sellers, lessees and lessors, developers and owners and has extensive experience prosecuting and defending large-scale contract and partnership disputes. He also has a wealth of experience efficiently defending and resolving lawsuits alleging deceptive consumer practices as a result of purported false labeling and misleading marketing.

Jed has been a featured panelist at numerous conferences and events addressing arbitration, judicial reference and other contractual provisions implicated in disputes, as well as creating enforceable website terms and conditions.

Jed is the leader of the Los Angeles office’s pro bono team. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Pepperdine Law School, and his B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona.
