International law firm BCLP announced today the addition of Partner Stephanie Stein to the firm’s Real Estate team as part of the Commercial Real Estate practice. She joins the firm’s New York office.

Stephanie joins the firm from McDermott Will & Schulte and brings extensive experience across the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, leasing and financings. Her practice spans a wide range of asset classes, such as commercial, industrial, multifamily, retail, office, hotel, mixed‑use and senior living. She represents landlords and corporate tenants in leasing matters nationwide.

“Strengthening our U.S. real estate platform has been a top priority for the department,” said Andy Auerbach, Partner and Regional Leader – Real Estate. “Stephanie’s arrival directly advances that strategy. Her breadth of experience, especially in equity‑side matters and complex transactional work, fills a critical gap in our New York bench and positions us to better serve clients across the full lifecycle of their real estate needs.”

Stephanie’s experience includes large portfolio deals, intricate corporate matters and structuring complex credit facilities.

“Stephanie brings a combination of transactional sophistication and practical judgment that enhances our real estate offering,” said Nazir Dewji, Global Department Leader – Real Estate. “Her ability to manage complex deals with clarity and confidence, while maintaining a collaborative approach, will be a tremendous asset to our clients. Stephanie’s arrival reflects the caliber of talent we are committed to attracting as we continue to build a market‑leading real estate practice.”

“I’m excited to join BCLP and be part of a cohesive, collaborative team that delivers exceptional client service and results,” Stephanie said. “I look forward to working on complex equity-side real estate matters while also supporting cross-practice work with private equity and M&A teams as the firm continues to grow its real estate platform.”

Stephanie is the latest in a series of targeted lateral partner additions across the firm, as BCLP continues to invest in high‑caliber talent aligned with its global growth strategy. In 2025, BCLP added 25 lateral partners globally across all three of its departments, and Stephanie is the third lateral partner to join the firm in the U.S. this year.
