BCLP advises Burstone Group on joint venture with Hines to aggregate pan-European industrial portfolio

BCLP advised Johannesburg-listed integrated international real estate Burstone Group on its joint venture with Hines, a leading global real estate investment manager, to aggregate a pan-European light industrial portfolio initially focussed on Germany and the Netherlands. Burstone will invest 20% of the platform equity and perform the role of investment and asset manager. BCLP is also advising the joint venture on its debt financing from Morgan Stanley.

The BCLP team was led by John Bennett (CREF, UK) with assistance from George Dunne (CREF, UK), Ambroise Foerster and Mina Fontaine (Real Estate, Luxembourg) supported by: Andy West (Tax, UK), James Anderson (Employment, UK) and Kirila Bucheva (CREF, UK).
