International law firm BCLP has advised Sapiens International Corporation on the English law aspects of the proposed acquisition of AdvantageGo, for an enterprise value of £43 million.

The strategic acquisition significantly enhances Sapiens’ global P&C proposition, adding cutting-edge underwriting workbench capabilities that address one of the most critical challenges in the P&C industry today: managing, assessing, and writing risk more effectively. AdvantageGo is expected to enable Sapiens to enhance its proposition to the London Specialty Market – a global hub for complex and high-risk insurance and reinsurance, where brokers and underwriters negotiate bespoke coverage, primarily through Lloyd's of London and the London Company Market.

Sapiens is a global leader in intelligent insurance SaaS-based software solutions. With Sapiens’ robust platform, customer-driven partnerships, and rich ecosystem, insurers are empowered to future-proof their organizations with operational excellence in a rapidly changing marketplace.

The BCLP deal team was led by Partner Jonathan Morris (Corporate Transactions) with assistance from Senior Associate George Avery and Associate Florence Ha (Corporate Transactions); Partner Katherine Pope, Associate Ellie Serridge (Employment and Labor); Partner Marcus Pearl and Associate (Indian and US Qualified) Vishnu Rege (Technology, Commercial and Government Affairs).

BDA Partners and William Blair acted as financial advisors to Coforge. Meitar acted as primary legal advisor to Sapiens in connection with the transaction and JSA acted as legal advisor to Coforge.
