BCLP advises The Crown Estate on a £24bn landmark joint venture with Lendlease

Following a competitive tender process last year, international law firm BCLP was appointed to advise The Crown Estate (TCE) on its joint venture with Australian developer Lendlease. The joint venture is a landmark deal in the real estate market as it aims to progress some of the UK’s biggest regeneration schemes.

The joint venture will acquire six of Lendlease’s schemes comprising Euston Station (London), Smithfield (Birmingham), Silvertown (London), High Road West (London), Thamesmead (London), and Stratford Cross (London), which have a combined developed value of circa £24 billion. This includes over 26,000 homes and over 10 million square feet of commercial space.
