BCLP continues private equity practice build out with counsel hire
Apr 02, 2026London, 31 March 2026 – International law firm BCLP announces today that Katrina Murphy has joined its private equity team as counsel in the London office. Her arrival underlines the firm’s commitment to continue growing its private equity offering.
Katrina advises companies, private equity funds and management teams on acquisitions and disposals, fundraisings and general corporate transactions, with a particular focus on the technology, energy and healthcare sectors. Her practice extends across a broad range of cross-border matters, including M&A, growth capital and buy‑and‑build strategies.
Katrina’s arrival follows the recent addition of Clai Harrison as a partner in the London office, whose practice focuses on transaction-led private equity and private equity real estate. Clai and Katrina’s arrival to the firm is part of a strategic initiative by BCLP to strengthen its corporate offering globally, an effort that includes adding 16 partners in the past year.
